The Last Of Us announces a bonus episode that will air after the finale
It’s finally here. The day we all have been waiting for. In just a few days, HBO’s The Last of Us will be over. The first season’s finale, “Look for the Light,” will be held this Sunday. It’s been an amazing ride. We know that a second season will be coming so it’s not the end.
We’re pretty sure what we can expect from those of you who’ve played the Last of Us. Bella Ramsey, Ellie’s actor, teased that the finale might prove to be divisive. The finale is only 45 minutes long, leaving some fans worried that Ellie and Joel’s final leg may feel a bit rushed. We will find out soon enough. HBO has announced that an additional episode will air immediately after the final. This is a great bonus!
HBO will air an episode called Making of the Last of Us right after the finale. It sounds exactly like it. Teased By The Official The Last of Us Tweet Account, the episode will take viewers “behind-the-scenes with the cast of The Last of Us and show how they brought it to life in a special behind-the-scenes featurette.”
The preview trailer gives us a glimpse into the creation of the premiere’s special effects for plane crashes, and a look at how clickers were made practical. We also get interviews with cast members and creatives. Sign me up. We’ll be able to see Tess’s kiss of death on film, as well as the creepy clicker-child jumping on Kathleen.
It sounds great and I will be watching it. It will be a pleasant distraction from the intense emotions we’ll feel when episode nine ends.
