Hogwarts Legacy Players beg developers to stop nerfing single-player games

Hogwarts Legacy gamers are asking the developers to stop nerfing objects in the single-player game.

Hogwarts Legacy was launched in February 2023. Since then, has received numerous updates to improve stability and quality of life. Some updates have nerfed items in the game, and some players aren’t happy about that.

“The latest update NERFed transfiguration barrel damage towards groups. I don’t understand why anything is being NERFed for a single-player game,” jonlb87 wrote on Reddit. “I also see people asking for the removal of the killing curse. Stop. You can still play the game you want, but I won’t be able to use it.

We can understand where the player is coming from, to be fair. Most weapons and other items are nerfed in multiplayer competitive games. For example, weapons could be nerfed in Warzone2.0 or capabilities might be nerfed in Bungie’s Destiny2.

Some nerfs can be due to an OP weapon or ability. This will lead to players using the same weapons and abilities over and over, and encourage them to not try other options. If a multiplayer map has many players using the same abilities or weapons, it can become very repetitive.
